Don't ask if you have time. Ask if it deserves your time.

Five questions to run through in thirty seconds before you say yes to a meeting, project or invitation.

Most people decide based on urgency. Time Intelligent people decide based on alignment, return and intention. The quality of your life is shaped by the quality of the decisions you make with your time.

Use this filter for everyday commitments. For bigger decisions, use the Opportunity Filter.

The five questions

  1. Does this align with my goals?
  2. What return will this create? Financial, health, relationships, knowledge, emotional, freedom, purpose or legacy.
  3. Is this the best use of my time right now?
  4. Do I genuinely want to do this?
  5. What am I saying no to if I say yes?

Then decide: invest, or decline.

How to use it

Before you say yes to anything, pause for thirty seconds and walk through the five questions. If it does not align with your goals or create a meaningful return, decline it with confidence.
